yeah, Jukka with all the rights, being honest the UPNP idea sounds good, but the implementation across platforms / softwares is a mess. We suffer a lot, but as a lot of users were used to that we try at least to come up with something usable. If we can improve it.. we will try.. but the whole concept is kind of flawed since the beginnig : / protocol..etc : /

Hi guys, We had a much improved (server and client and control) feature list, but the guys behind the Brisa development were not able to meet the quality in the time needed : / so we did a second Upnp Plugin to support the users with the basics (streams of video audio and photos) I think basically is what you get different is that you can stream easily photos from one server while listening to music from other etc, and it seems that it's working better in some servers than the default media player (this is odd) because of the mplayer backend( that is also crap in other media servers depending on your encondings)
As first release, of course it's far from perfect...

Thanks jamie, actually is just our developer build (we don't use scratchbox etc) so people interested in the plugins can test them without needing to transfer to the device. Also, themeing people can hack the edje themes and make crazy stuff if they want (change animations, increase or decrease text, sizes etc ) :)
